22-year-old Senior won the New South Wales Amateur on the Australian trip beating Sullivan in the all-English final, while he finished runner-up to Sullivan in the earlier New South Wales Medal. If the Championship ends in a tie, the teams involved will nominate one x24 irons player to compete in a sudden death playoff.

Apart from his victory in the New South Wales Medal and defeat to Senior in the final of the New South Wales Amateur, Sullivan, 23, finished discount golf second in The Masters of the Amateurs in Melbourne and in the New South Wales Cup.

Senior and Sullivan also helped England retain The Ashes against Australia last month. The European Nations Championship is competed over 72 holes with the best ping g20 driver three cards each day counting towards the team event.
